M Farmers Markets

Locally grown fresh produce returns to U-M this summer! 

UH Courtyard

Dates: September 16, 2021

Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Location: University Hospital Courtyard

What will be available:

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Box tomatoes
  • Garlic bulbs
  • Peaches
  • Cucumbers
  • Zucchini
  • Green Bell Peppers
  • Potatoes
  • Sweet Corn
  • Apples
  • Butternut, Acorn and Spaghetti Squash
  • Honey
  • Beans

The produce will be provided by Zilke Vegetable Farm, from Milan, Michigan. Purchases can be made with cash or credit/debit cards. 

 East Ann Arbor Health and Geriatrics Center (EAAHC)

Dates:  Wednesdays, August 18 and 25; September 8 and 22, 2021

Times:  10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Location:  Outside of EAAHC, between entrances 2 & 3 

Places and Ways to Find Produce

  • University of Michigan Farm Stand - Each Thursday, July 22 to October 28, 2021 from 12 - 3 p.m. The market can be found on State Street, outside of the University of Michigan Museum of Art. The U-M Stand is a weekly pop-up market where students and community members can purchase student-grown produce. Students will receive a 30% discount at checkout as part of our mission to make local food more affordable and accessible to students. Powered by the U-M Sustainable Food Program and the Campus Farm, the Farm Stand aims to increase student access to fresh produce on campus. The proceeds from the Farm Stand go towards funding student-led sustainable food initiatives here at the University of Michigan. All leftover produce from the Farm Stand is donated to Maize and Blue Cupboard.
