Fitness Centers at U-M

There are several U-M fitness centers across each campus that are open to U-M faculty and staff.

Dearborn Wellness Center

The Wellness Center is open to all current University of Michigan-Dearborn students, faculty, and staff members. The Wellness Center features cardio equipment including five treadmills and two elliptical machines, free weights, Cybex weight machines, locker rooms, two racquetball courts, and a dance studio where many of our fitness classes are held. Flint Recreation Center

The Recreation Center is open to the public through memberships, day passes, specialty fitness classes and youth camps as well as free to currently enrolled UM-Flint students with an MCard. The facility boasts features such as an indoor track, pool, spa, fitness classes. Learn more.

U-M Recreational Sports

With membership to U-M Recreational Sports, faculty and staff get access to:

  • Central Campus Recreation Building (CCRB)
  • Intramural Sports Building (IMSB)
  • North Campus Recreation Building (NCRB)
  • Two (2) indoor tracks
  • Three (3) indoor pools
  • Over 500 pieces of cardio and weight equipment
  • Unlimited drop-in use of basketball, volleyball, racquetball and squash courts
  • And many other amenities at all three (3) of our recreational facilities.

UH South Wellness Center

Memberships are available to Michigan Medicine faculty and staff. Located on the 8th floor of UH South, the center will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and feature state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, space for group exercise classes, shower and restroom facilities, health behavior change classes and more. NCRC Wellness Center

The NCRC Wellness Center is a resource to help promote greater health and wellness at NCRC, offering fitness and strength training machines, MHealthy exercise and relaxation classes, and multiple wellness programs. Learn more.
