Work-Life Resource Center

The Work-Life Resource Center (WLRC) is your starting point for resources and tools promoting work-life flexibility at Michigan. Our services provide members of the university community with child care resources, back-up child care (Kids Kare at Home), U-M Family Helpers, additional options including resources for finding an in-your-home caregiver or tutor, lactation and parenting resources, elder care resources, information on flexible work options, and an annual Work-Life Conference.

The WLRC is committed to the ongoing development of a workplace culture supportive of personal and family life. By advocating for enlightened policies, practices, and services, the WLRC contributes to the recruitment and retention of the highest-quality faculty, staff, and students.

Contact the Work-Life Resource Center by email, or by calling (734) 936-8677 for general inquiries, or (734) 763-9379 for child care information.
