Invite feedback from different people about a presentation you will be giving at a staff meeting. Adust your presentation accordingly.

Invite a colleague who sits on a committee or board that you chair to discuss the negatives behaviors that you have observed them demonstrate on more than one occasion.

Introduce yourself to someone you often see in and around your office but do not know.

If you sit on a non-profit board or committee, take each request that your group receives under thoughtful consideration. Provide a prompt response after a decision is rendered.

If you notice a conflict pertaining to a workflow process, bring it up with your team and work together to try to resolve it.

If you are in charge of creating goals and action plans, stick to them or admit to others if you find yourself unable to follow through. Take actions to mitigate.

Identify and meet with a direct report who is struggling. Where possible, offer positive, constructive feedback while also noting their accountability to the workflow and goals of the unit.

Hold a brainstorming session to improve upon an existing product or service. To start, distribute index cards that participants use to write their ideas and submit anonymously.

Help someone new to your group by making introductions, locating resources, and networking.
