Attend university related events with formats that lend themselves to networking (e.g., U-M Center for Positive Organizations events).

Ask your supervisor and other colleagues in your field for recommendations for regional or national organizations to get involved with.

Ask questions using positive inquiry (e.g., "Help me to further understand your point of view").
