Help someone new to your group by making introductions, locating resources, and networking.

Go over to a new neighbor's apartment or home and welcome them with something to eat or drink.

For a minimum of one year, commit to volunteering with a community organization.

Follow through on your commitments to yourself, your team, and other stakeholders who are impacted by your work.

Follow through on an act that you promised someone (e.g., giving a coworker a ride to pick up their vehicle at the mechanic).

Explore the other person's perspective by asking questions, gathering information and actively listening.

Engage in conversation with everyone. Ask a few questions and listen intently. Share something about yourself.
