- Those covered under an accepted health insurance plan will not have to pay out-of-pocket. Please bring your insurance card.
- U-M faculty and staff not covered under an accepted insurance plan can still receive a flu shot at a rate of $44 per person. Pay by check or credit card. The out-of-pocket cost for COVID-19 vaccinations will be shared when available.
Flu shots are available through a collaboration between Michigan Medicine’s Flu/Immunization Program, MHealthy and University Health & Counseling’s University Health Service. For more information, email [email protected] or call 734-975-3225.
Faculty and staff who cannot attend a campus clinic, spouses/other qualified adults, dependents and retirees can get flu or COVID-19 vaccinations at their doctor’s office, local clinic or most pharmacies. When the flu or COVID-19 vaccination is administered at a pharmacy, there is no cost to you when using your prescription drug card. Learn more about coverage through U-M health plans.
Before Going to a Clinic:
- Do not attend the clinic if you don't feel well.
- Wear clothing that allows the shot to be administered in the upper arm.
- Bring your health insurance card.
