- MHealthy reserves the right to cancel any class that attracts fewer than 10 participants. Decisions will be made by the close of the first full week of classes based on the number of registered participants.
- All participants must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) form for each class for which they register, prior to the first day of class. PARQs will either be provided online or given by the instructor.
- All participants MUST sign in at the beginning of class. Latecomers should sign in as soon as they arrive and before they join the group.
- Athletic shoes must be worn during class. Participants may NOT wear socks alone or go barefoot in any classes except for Yoga, Yogilates, Pilates, Stretch and Strengthen or Tai Chi classes.
- Refunds will only be given when requested prior to the start of the second class.
- Refunds will be considered after the second class when there is a medical condition and/or employee is no longer with the University. There must be at least one month of classes the participant will not be able to attend due to the condition.
- All class payments from November 1, 2019, on will be made via one payment and refunds will be made only when the refund is greater than $10 in special circumstances (doctor’s note for the rest of a semester, etc.)
- If a class must be cancelled on the day that it is scheduled, MHealthy will make every effort to contact registered participants via email. Participants can also check the Cancelled Class page for the most up-to-date listing of cancelled classes.
- If a participant cannot make it to their MHealthy class, they may receive a Makeup Card from their instructor the next time they attend class. Makeup Cards are good for one (1) use in any class that is currently being held. Participants may receive up to three (3) Makeup Cards per session and Makeup Cards expire at the end of EACH session.
- PLEASE NOTE: If the class participant chooses to use their Makeup Card at a class that is already full, there is a possibility that the holder of the Makeup Card may not be permitted to join that class.
- MHealthy will only cancel classes due to weather conditions if the University of Michigan cancels classes (this goes for academic and/or recreational group ex classes). In an instance where the instructor has to cancel due to weather, Makeup Cards will be given.
- Makeup Classes are scheduled only when an instructor must cancel class. On the occasion that a room becomes unavailable through no fault of MHealthy’s, MHealthy is not responsible for providing refunds or Makeup Classes.
