Be Well in the Big House FAQs

Who can attend Be Well in the Big House?
Only current, active U-M faculty or staff can attend the Sept. 21 event at Michigan Stadium and the virtual well-being sessions leading up to the event (unfortunately, children are not allowed at the Michigan Stadium event.) All levels and abilities are welcome! Please bring your U-M Employee ID.
How many on-field sessions can I register for?
We are asking that participants register for no more than TWO on-field sessions; each person may register just for themselves.
How many virtual sessions can I register for?
Space is not limited for the virtual sessions so you can register for all three if you like!
Do I have to register for concourse activities?
No, registration is not required for CONCOURSE activities, including 15-minute sessions of cardio drumming and meditative breathing:
  • Join 15-minute sessions of Cardio Drumming at 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
  • Join the Back Care and Mobility sessions at 3:35 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. and 5:35 p.m.
  • Join 15-minute Heartfulness Guided Meditation demos at 3:55 p.m., 4:55 p.m. and 5:55 p.m.
I registered for an on-field session. Can I pick up my wristband in advance?
YES! To speed up your event-day check-in, come to one of these locations to pick up your class wristband before the event. Note, you can pick up your own wristband only; please bring your U-M Employee ID.
Then just show up the day of the event wearing your wristband(s), get your U-M Employee ID swiped at Gate 1, and go right to the field!
How do I notify MHealthy if I have limited mobility or need assistance to attend the event?
If you need any kind of accommodation to fully participate in this event, please email [email protected] least one week before the event.
What should I bring to the event if I am participating in an on-field session?
  • Your U-M Employee ID
  • Your event wristband(s) (if picked up in advance)
  • A towel
  • Water bottle (this is a zero waste event)
  • Exercise mat (if you are attending the yoga session)

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
  • Yellow and orange permit parking lots are nearby, however spaces are very limited.
  • Carpool or bus transportation is strongly encouraged. View bus route information.
