U-M has collective bargaining agreements with several different labor organizations, representing select employees who perform specific roles on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint campuses and Michigan Medicine. These employees perform duties that are essential to the university's missions of teaching, research and patient care. They include nurses, police officers, graduate student instructors, skilled trades people and more.
