Exception Time Tracking Workbooks - Sick Leave
The following workbooks are mapped to faculty eligibility in SPG 201-11.1 by rank and may be used to track exception time.
- Junior research ranks
- Senior research ranks: 1 to <10 YOS
- Senior research ranks: 10+ YOS
- Junior tenure-track & clinical ranks - 12 months
- Senior tenure-track & clinical ranks - 12 months: 1 to <10 YOS
- Senior tenure-track & clinical ranks - 12 months: 10+ YOS

This chart outlines faculty eligibility for short-term and extended sick time described in SPG 201.11-1. Five-year lookback examples are also included.
Medical Time off Flowcharts
Process flowcharts include the following
- Work-related and non-work-related illness and injury absences of more than 10 days
- Absence for employee’s own condition for 10 or fewer days or family care
