The University of Michigan Health Plan (UM Health Plan) makes it easy to find a doctor, no matter where you are in the country.
How to get started: To find in-network providers for your Michigan Care plan, visit UofMHealthPlan.org/FindaDoctor and enter your member ID number or select Michigan Care (employee only) from the dropdown menu.. Be sure to include your zip code and select “Mental Health Providers” in order to find behavioral health care nearest to you.

University of Michigan Health Plan has partnered with Amwell® to provide access to board-certified doctors 24 hours a day – no appointment needed. Amwell provides access to therapists or psychiatrists for those seeking behavioral health services.
To get started, go to PHP.Amwell.com and create an account. When prompted, use "PHP" for the service key. Then, visit the provider of your choice online, through the Amwell mobile app, or by calling 844.SEE.DOCS. Your Amwell provider can call in prescriptions* to a local pharmacy of your choice. They may also refer you to other providers for care if they are unable to treat you with a telehealth visit. *Amwell doctors cannot prescribe controlled substances or lifestyle medications.

Michigan Care Advantage: log into your account, select Benefits from the main page, toggle down to Telehealth and select your health plan.
Located in your member portal, L!VEwell is our comprehensive wellness program and is an included benefit for all UM Health Plan members.
How to get started: First, login to your member portal, then click on “L!VEwell Wellness Program” (under Quick Access) to go directly to your L!VEwell homepage. Members can opt to enroll in Action Plans, which are personalized learning modules designed to help motivate gradual lifestyle changes. These are several relevant topics to choose from, include Depression and Stress Management. In addition, the Healthwise library, located towards the bottom of the homepage, provides members with the option to search for a specific topic or browse a list of mental health-related articles and videos. Members can also use L!VEwell to complete a personal health assessment, enroll in upcoming challenges, and find other health and wellness resources.
