Leadership Development Offerings for Anyone

Leaders play an important role in helping to prevent workplace issues and wrongdoing. Join Leadership and Culture: Strategies to Prevent Workplace Issues and Retaliation. This course teaches leaders with at least one direct report how to create a welcoming and respectful work environment.

Our new Giving and Receiving Feedback course offers practical strategies to improve communication skills. It also teaches participants how to foster trust, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Attend our course, Responding to Mental Health Concerns in the Workplace. Learn the best practices for responding to mental health concerns. Gain the skills necessary to create an inclusive workplace.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Our new Disrupting Everyday Bias For Leaders teaches concepts for understanding and addressing everyday biases. Participants will identify the ways bias is shaped and shows up in the workplace. They will learn how to create an environment that fosters cultures of inclusion.

In June 2022, U-M enacted an official policy about digital accessibility. The policy covers digital formats such as websites, documents and software programs. Introduction to Digital Accessibility highlights the impact of digital accessibility on workplace culture.

We also welcome you to participate in our course, Disability Awareness and Inclusion. In this course, you'll learn how to respond to requests for reasonable accommodations. Participants will learn how to contribute to a more inclusive and accessible environment.
