Jessica Fennelly
Clinical Pharmacist Specialist and Adjunct Clinical Instructor, Clinical Pharmacy, College of Pharmacy
Jessica Fennelly (she/her) received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan (UM), and then earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UM College of Pharmacy. After college, she completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 specialty residency in Ambulatory Care at Michigan Medicine. Fennelly joined the team of Michigan Medicine PCMH pharmacists in 2017. In her role currently, she provides primary care clinical services and engages in quality improvement initiatives at the Canton Health Center. She also provides care as a part of the transitions of care team of pharmacists. In her spare time, Fennelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also passionate about wellness, loves to travel, and spend time outdoors.

Joy received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and joined the University in 1987, yes 36 years ago! I started work on the Campus side but currently work at Michigan medicine doing contracts for the Operating Rooms. I love working at U of M so much I have encouraged my husband, son and daughter to work here. I joined Voices because I think it is important to hear from all staff at all levels, great ideas come from diverse groups. I love spending time with family, friends and my dog playing golf, kayaking, bowling, playing games, traveling and going to church.

Juhi Gupta is a PMR Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic health with the Michigan Medicine Northville Health Center. She has been working with Michigan Medicine since 2020. She graduated from University of South Florida with a Doctor of physical therapy degree. This is her first year in Voices of the Staff on the Striving for Well-Being Team. Juhi loves to cook and Indian folk dancing.

Julie Piazza is a Senior Project Manager with the Office of Patient Experience and serves as Program Lead for the Patient & Family Life Services pilot for the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at University of Michigan Health.Julie is also a Certified Child Life Specialist for over 30+ years collaborating with numerous multidisciplinary teams to facilitate pediatric and adult patient and family centered initiatives across the care continuum. Many of these initiatives have been related to reducing pain and anxiety and improving human experience, wellbeing and compassionate connection. Julie explores opportunities and connections to help contribute to innovations highlighting stories that can help improve outcomes for patients, families and healthcare clinicians. Julie joined the voices of the staff Striving for Well being to help fellow employees improve their overall wellbeing habits and health knowledge.

Kim is the Director of Online Learning in the School of Public Health, where she has worked for the past six years collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and deliver online programming in an effort to educate current and future public health professionals. Kim earned her EdD in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama where she worked for 12 years developing, marketing, and facilitating online degree programs. Kim joined the Voices of the Staff Striving for Well-Being team in an effort to help employees improve their overall health and well-being and to get more involved in the UM community. Kim enjoys discovering new ways to declutter and organize and watching college football. Go Blue!

Kim is a teacher at Towsley Children’s House on central campus. Towsley is one of three children’s centers here at the university that provides faculty, staff, and students with the highest quality early education and care for their children. She began her career in 2004, and has been teaching at Towsley since 2008. When Kim is not teaching she is spending quality time with her husband, daughters, (both graduates of Towsley)and their eleven year old Havenese Paisley.

Kristi Jenkins (Team Advisor)
Research Program Manager
Kristi Rahrig Jenkins, PhD, MPH, is the Research Program Manager for MHealthy, the health and well-being services for the University of Michigan’s faculty, staff, and dependents. Kristi has over twenty years of experience in research units at the university. Before joining MHealthy in 2009, Kristi worked for the university’s Addiction Research Center and the Institute for Social Research, exploring research questions related to health and health behavior across the life course, particularly issues related to chronic disease, family relationships, social and psychological aspects of health, and population health. Kristi holds a MPH in community health education from the University of South Florida and a PhD in Sociology from Wayne State University.

Kristina Sarrica (Kris) has been working at Michigan Medicine since 2014, and currently works with the HITS EI Audio Visual Services team as a Schedulon Administrator managing reservations in the University Hospital Campus Shared Meeting and Event Spaces (shared conference rooms and auditoriums). Kris started her career at the University of Michigan in May 1979, and has worked with ITS, LSA, and Michigan Medicine. She left the University from April 1993 - February 1996 to work on the east coast as a Unix System Administrator on an army base in New Jersey. She has had 45 years of IT experience, with most of those at the University of Michigan. She joined Voices of the Staff to help promote the many resources available to staff members here at the University.

Lisa Camfield (she/her) is a Wellness Coordinator with MHealthy. She earned her degree in movement science from the University of Michigan and has over 20 years experience in the well-being space. Lisa represented university staff on the Workplace Innovation and Staff Experience (WISE) committee. Lisa is currently a co-facilitator for the Striving for Well-being network team, co-lead of the facilitator group and PMT liaison for the Embracing Change network team. Previously, Lisa held the role of co-facilitator for the Embracing Change network team and served on the Work/Life Flexibility team. Lisa coaches her daughter’s volleyball team and is an active volunteer with her daughter’s field hockey travel team

Maureen received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her graduate degree from the University of Michigan. She has worked for DPSS, Michigan Medicine Security for over 20 years. She is active in workplace violence initiatives, community outreach, and public speaking on various topics. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching all sports, playing sports, and traveling to water parks around the midwest.

Meaghan Haas is a Benefits Manager for the university’s Long-Term Disability (LTD) Program serving the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses as well as Michigan Medicine. She earned her degree in human resource management from Michigan State University as well as her MBA from Walsh College. She has over 20 years experience in payroll, benefits and the disability claims management space. Meaghan served as Project Manager for the university’s Smoke-Free Initiative and LTD Program Review. Meaghan is a second year advisor on Voices.
