Quiet or redirect the more extroverted and passionate members of a group outside of your direct role to provide opportunities for others to speak up.

Propose a job shadowing or job rotation program for your department/unit.

Plan a workshop for leaders of a team about talent management. Collaborate or consult with the HR Community of Practice for subject area expertise.

Pilot a "no work emails" after 6:00, or "no weekend emails" project.

Participate on a nominating committee for a high level hire within a professional organization.

Organize a session for a non profit or professional organization about the importance of and the ways to approach succession planning within the organization.

Organize a group of people to attend a lunchtime event. Afterwards, discuss it and encourage different opinions.
