Facilitator: Loveth Egi is a Certified Emergency Registered Nurse with 24 years of experience. She has worked at the Emergency Department of Michigan Medicine for 17 years. She holds a BSN in Nursing and went on to Law school in 2015 to earn a Law degree, which has further enhanced her understanding of the legal standards of care and the connection to the medical standards of care. The Law degree has enabled her to be a more effective advocate for her patients, which helps to give patients a voice in their medical treatment and this in turn makes Loveth feel she is making a difference in her patients’ lives.

Shanté Galloway
Senior HR Business Partner
Member 2nd year: Shante Galloway (she/her) serves as the HR and Operations Performance Consultant for the School of Dentistry at the University of Michigan. With a tenure of 17 years at the university, she has held diverse HR and Administrative roles in departments such as LSA, PitE, and Shared Services Center. Shante is known for her enthusiastic and strategic approach to building meaningful connections with faculty and staff. Beyond her primary duties, Shante actively engages in various university service committees and initiatives. She currently holds the position of treasurer for the Women of Color Taskforce, participates in the HR Community of Practice Group, and volunteers as a mediator with the ECRT. Shante will graduate from the University of Michigan-Flint in December 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. She plans to further her education by pursuing a Master’s in Leadership and Organizational Design starting in January 2025. In her leisure time, Shante enjoys fantasy football, culinary experiences, and spending time with her family.

Senior Financial Manager in Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis
Advisor: Sheryl Bourlier is a Senior Financial Manager in Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (EFP&A). She began her university career at M-Care, and has progressed in her roles in EFP&A since that time. She is proud to have formerly served as a member of the Voices Career Development Team, assisted the B&F DEI team lead, and was honored to participate with the M-Staff 200. She also currently is a member of the Staff Well-Being Collective. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, in particular doing agility, and is now learning how to do scent work with them as well. Other favorite activities are spending time with family, word/number puzzles, embroidery, reading, history, gardening, and hiking.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 2001, I have continually pursued excellence in my field. I hold current certifications in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) and Nursing Manager/Leader (CNML), reflecting my commitment to professional growth and proficiency. With a solid foundation in nursing and a wealth of experience accumulated over the years, I am steadfast in my dedication to ensuring exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for my colleagues.

Tracy Darnell
Program Manager
Member 2nd year: Tracy Darnell (she/her) is the program manager for the School of Dentistry’s Community-based Collaborative Care and Education Program. She joined the university in 2006 as a part of the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, transitioning to the Office of New Student Programs in 2010, and has been with CBCE in Dentistry since 2018. Tracy previously served on two Voices committees and the Core Team, and now returns to Voices as part of Alumni Engagement to continue serving her fellow staff members. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Northwood University. Tracy can be found serving on a variety committees in the dental school and across the U-M campus. When not at U-M, she loves spending time with her son, her friends, and her dog Molly. Tracy enjoys reading, cooking/baking, cycling, and traveling.
