Alison Kenyon
LSA Specialized Office Service
Alison Kenyon has been a Wolverine for many years, graduating from the Residential College, and from LSA with a degree in Film, Television and Media. After graduation, Alison became a professional Actors’ Equity Association stage manager, a membership she maintains to this day. She returned to the University of Michigan in 2005. In 2018, she joined LSA HR Specialized Office Services (SOS). Moving around LSA to assist units when they most need a positive energy injection is something that brings her satisfaction. She previously served on the Ideal Work Experience and Core Voices teams.
Outside of the U, Alison enjoys writing for any audience, colored pencil drawing, gardening and tent camping around this beautiful state.

Celia Alcumbrack
Marketing and Social Media Manager
Facilitator: Celia Alcumbrack (she /her/hers) is the marketing and social media manager for the School of Dentistry, where she has worked for 16 years. She served on the Leadership and Work/Life balance teams in Voices, and has been on the Selection Committee for the Staff Impact Awards for four years. Celia likes to focus on the big picture, always asks "why" and ensures projects have a purpose and a goal. As a foster for HSHV, she fosters pregnant cats, and kittens with complex medical needs. In her non-work hours, she is passionate about creating art, usually in miniature form, rock hounding, and learning new skills. She is also a huge advocate for staff appreciation, healthy work/life balances, and fair staff compensation.

Deanna Wadley
Clinical Manager
Member 2nd year: Deanna Wadley: Deanna Wadley (she/her) is a Clinical Support Manager for the Division of Hospital Medicine assisting hospitalist and resident providers with patient care. She began her career within the CVC Cardiovascular Hospital where she served for 10 of her 20-year career. She also worked within capacity management assisting capacity within CVC, UH, and Mott hospitals. Deanna formally served on the inaugural Voices of the Staff Diversity Team. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Heidelberg College. She lives in Ypsilanti Township with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family/friends, traveling, gardening, and reading.

Debbra Galanti
Executive Assistant Senior
Member 2nd year: Debbra Galanti is an Executive Assistant Senior for the Michigan Medicine Office of Well-Being Department and prior to that she worked as an Executive Assistant in Central Finance as well as in Psychiatry for the Executive Director and Founder of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Depression center where she served as the administrative partner on the Psychiatry DEI committee. Debbra was also the administrative Assistant Senior at the UM Diabetes Research Center assisting with the pilot grant funding opportunities. She has over 20 years’ experience at Michigan Medicine including some clinical roles as a Medical Assistant Specialist working in the spine procedure unit, pediatric muscular dystrophy, and amputee clinics, with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Debbra has her bachelor’s degree in business administration and phlebotomist certification. Debbra is a Michigan Wolverines sports fanatic with her favorites being both football and hockey. Her hobbies include, freelance photography, homestead farming on her 5-acre farm with her pet highland cattle, goats, and chickens. She loves gardening and canning. In her spare time, she loves to travel and has a goal of staying in all 50 states, as well as many foreign countries to follow. Previously Debbra served on the Voices work-life balance team and the striving for wellbeing team in 2020. Debbra served on the AENT Core Team for Voices 2023-2024 and this is her 2nd year volunteering on the Alumni Engagement Network Team.

Doreen Tinajero
Project Senior Manager
Member 2nd year: Doreen N. Tinajero serves as the Project Senior Manager at the Center for Social Solutions. She manages the Center’s inaugural project, Our Compelling Interests. Doreen was recruited to help establish the Center and continues to support various aspects of the Center. She served as the president of the Women of Color Task Force from 2022-2024, and is a current member of Organizational Learning's Facilitator Engagement Program and the Anti-Racist Alliance. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Doreen served multiple roles at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in New York since 1997. She serves as a board member at SafeHouse Center and a committee member at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation. Doreen enjoys reading, traveling to new cities and countries, and spending time with her family.

Doreen N. Tinajero (she/her) is the Project Senior Manager at the Center for Social Solutions. She manages the Center’s inaugural project, Our Compelling Interests. She serves as the president of the Women of Color Task Force, and a current member of Organizational Learning's Facilitator Engagement Program and the Anti-Racist Alliance. Prior to joining Dr. Lewis at the University of Michigan, Doreen served multiple roles at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in New York since 1997. Her tenure included work in the Foundation’s Conservation and the Environment program until its closure in 2013, subsequently supporting the newly established International Higher Education and Strategic Projects program. While supporting a $13M international effort, she also served as a project manager on a president-led initiative. Doreen has earned a BS from Marymount Manhattan College, and an MA from New York University.
She serves as a board member at SafeHouse Center and a committee member at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.

Senior Research Laboratory Specialist and Lab Manager
Advisor: Erin Bigelow (she/her/hers) is a Research Lab Specialist Lead and lab manager with the Orthopaedic Surgery department, working on preventing fragility fractures. She has worked at Michigan Medicine for 15 years. She is passionate about employee engagement, community building, and sustainability in the workplace. When not in lab, Erin enjoys cooking, reading, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Grace Wu
Managing Director
VoCoL: Grace Wu (she/her) is the Managing Director of the Taubman Medical Research Institute, overseeing finance, human resources, development, and research administration. She began her career at U-M in 2002 at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning. Over the past 20+ years, she has held various positions in research and center administration. Grace was on the inaugural Voice of the Staff Physical and Emotional Health Team in 2005, and in 2018 joined the Enhance the Employee Experience Network Team. She is a member of the Women of Color Task Force (WCTF), most recently served as treasurer on the Executive Team, and a member of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi/American (APID/A) Association. Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University. She lives in Saline with her husband and 3 kids, 3 dogs, is the president of the school PTA, and belongs to 3 book clubs.

Jennifer Slater
Value Analyst Senior
Facilitator: Jennifer Slater (she/her/hers) is Value Analyst with Supply Chain. She earned her B.S. from the University of Michigan in 2005 and was with the Department of Pathology for 17 years before transitioning to Supply Chain. Jennifer previously served on the Best Practices and Technology team and is looking forward to a new role with Voices of the Staff. When not on campus, Jennifer and her husband are kept busy with their 4-year old twin boys and 7-year old rescue pup. They all enjoy getting outdoors, family time and finding the next best brunch spot.

Josh Simon
Senior Systems Administrator
Josh Simon (he/him) is a senior systems administrator with LSA Technology Services, has been at U-M since May 2008, and is an active participant on university-wide projects such as the Michigan IT News, Michigan IT Symposium, and Voices of the Staff. He's one of AENT's facilitators. He's also an election inspector and precinct chair for the City of Ann Arbor. For fun he reads (mostly mysteries and science fiction) and while not a chef he's a decent all-around cook.

Administrative Assistant Senior
Member 2nd year: Kelly Saxton-Graham (she/her/hers) is an Administrative Assistant Senior in the Health Information Technology Services (HITS) where she supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Division. She has worked for Michigan Medicine since 1998 spending the first 17 years working in the Patient Accounts / Billing Third Party Collections in Revenue Cycle. Kelly spent two years on the Performance Management team when Voices of the Staff first started. When not working, she enjoys traveling, gardening, live music, and spending time with family.
