Create a clear and comprehensive vision statement pertaining to a change effort in your unit. Analyze the methods used by a speaker you find inspirational and motivational and apply several of those methods to your message.

Create a 30 second speech about a U-M initiative in which you are involved. Tailor the language to different audiences.

Connect DEI with creativity and innovation. Share 1-2 stories with your audience.

Compose and deliver a persuasive message to a community or professional organization about an approved change. Tailor language to the audiences and use compelling visual aids if applicable.

Collaborate with your team members to develop a shared vision and mission statement that aligns with those of your unit and the university.

Collaborate with your coach or mentor to develop challenging professional development goals. Check to see how your goals align with the priorities of your unit.

Collaborate with others in a non-profit organization to create metrics to specific goals (e.g., spending, attendance).
