Andre Louis
Research Program Manager (Flint, Office of Research)
Andre is a Research Program Manager in the Office of Research and Economic Development on the Flint campus. He is primarily responsible for managing the initiatives in place to support undergraduate research. Andre established the University’s Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program in 2005 and has sustained the program every year since its inception. He also manages the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience fellowship program, two tri-campus student research conferences, and the University’s undergraduate research endowed funding. Andre is currently on the University’s Staff Council and recently completed his term as chair. He has served on several committees including DEI, STEM and the University’s Strategic Plan Committee.Andre is approaching his 20th year of service with the University. Outside of work, Andre is a three-time author, a Game of Thrones superfan, and a diehard fan of Wolverines and Lions football.

Dana Brown
Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost for Equity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer
Dana Brown (she/her) is the Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost for Equity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer. She has worked at the university since 2015 and previously worked at the Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation (IHPI) within Michigan Medicine, the National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID) within LSA, and the Rackham Graduate School. In addition to Voices of the Staff, Dana serves on the Steering Committee for the All Campus Administrative Professionals (ACAP). In her free time, Dana enjoys cooking, camping, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Daniel Mitchell
Business Systems Analyst
Dan (He/Him) works with the eResearch team, primarily on the M-Inform Conflict of Interest and Proposal Management systems. In his role he assists with system design, technical support, and includes reporting responsibilities. He has previously worked with the Voices Leveraging Technology team, and served as part of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) Staff Advisory Council.

Jenny Esper
Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist
Jenny Esper (she/her) is a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) in the Revenue Cycle Mid-Service at Michigan Medicine.
She holds an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology from Ferris State University and is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Health Information Management.
Through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Jenny is accredited as a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP), and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Having nearly twenty years of inpatient coding experience,
Jenny made the change to a CDIS role in 2018. Away from the office, Jenny manages a local running club in Brighton, enjoys family time and watching HGTV.

Laura Koshewitz
Ergonomic Specialist
Laura (she/her) is an ergonomic specialist in Safety Management Services. She splits her time between general ergonomic prevention and safe patient handling and mobility. She started her career as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings, working in acute care at Michigan Medicine as an occupational therapist for over 5 years. She uses her skills and background as an occupational therapist in her current role in ergonomics. Outside of work Laura is expecting her first child set to arrive in December 2023. She enjoys spending time on the water, boating and swimming. She also loves watching Michigan football. Go Blue!

Raine R.M. Baker
Media Consultant
Raine has worked in various aspects of show production for 20 years, both in front of the audience and behind the scenes. For the past six years he has applied those principles combined with a wholly patron experience-focused approach to the classroom and event side of the LSA Technology Services operation. Currently, Raine oversees the use of Lecture Capture in LSA Spaces across campus. In his spare time, he acts as Field Director for the Walled Lake Braves youth football organization and is co-writing a book with a member of Prince’s ‘80s bands.

Sarah Juntunen
Educational Nurse Coordinator (ENC)
Sarah works as the ENC for Interventional Radiology. She oversees onboarding and orientation programs for both nurses and patient care tech associates (PCTAs) in the department. She also handles all equipment, process, and procedural educational roll-outs involving RNs and PCTAs, including the development of competencies for such things. This also includes conducting unit training annually, as well as ensuring all required certifications and licenses are maintained by staff. In the past year Sarah has spear-headed the initiation of a Unit-based BLITZ for point of care and restraint testing competencies, as well as a Unit-based certification program for the Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications that IR nurses are required to maintain. Sarah also serves as her units Nursing Framework Advancement Champion.

Shannon Etcheverry
Social Work Supervisor
Shannon (She/her) has been the Director of Silver Club Memory Programs since 2018. Silver Club provides activities and socialization for individuals with mild to moderate memory loss and is one of the community programs at the Turner Geriatrics Center. She is on numerous committees including the Social Worker Leadership DEI committee, Social Work Education Council, and is a Culture Coach (for EES). Previous to working for Michigan Medicine, she worked in Houston for 8 years in various roles in Community Mental Health. In her spare time she likes to read, watch TV and play with her fur children Bo (cat) and Brady (dog).

Silvana Janevski (Team Facilitator)
Administrative Specialist supporting the Chief Administrative Officer
Silvana Janevski (she/her) is an Administrative Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine’s Chairs’ Office at Michigan Medicine. In her position, Silvana plays an instrumental role in supporting the Chief Administrative Officer. She coordinates and oversees day to day activities, manages departmental events and supervises the Chairs’ Front Office Team. In addition to serving as a co-facilitator for the Promote Career Growth Team, Voices of the Staff, Silvana serves as a MHealthy Champion and co-lead for the Administration IMPOWER Council for her department. Silvana’s career at Michigan Medicine began in 2004 as a call center agent for MedSport Orthopaedics. She joined the Department of Internal Medicine in 2010 as an administrative assistant and advanced to her current position, her ultimate dream job, in 2015. Silvana enjoys staying active, teaching yoga in her local community, and spending time with her husband, John, and her three children.
