Sr. Administrative Director, Physician Relations and Outreach (Michigan Medicine)
Josie is the Director of Physician Relations and Outreach and she directs and oversees programs designed to foster positive relations between referring physicians and Michigan Medicine. Josie promotes the organization among members of the medical community that will lead to long lasting referral relationships and expand the Michigan Medicine footprint across the state of Michigan. She supports strategic plans related to hospital affiliations and partnerships. Josie enjoys spending time at the lake and boating.

Kathleen (Kathy) Ignatoski
Quality Assurance Specialist - ACUO
Kathy Ignatoski holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology and is the only QA specialist to assess the compliance between the IACUC and the IBC. I am on VOTS, a Planet Blue Ambassador, an MHealthy champion, a Mental health first Aider, a PEER supporter, and a DEI committee member. Before becoming a QA, I worked at the lab bench for many different departments of the University. In my spare time, I play soccer, I coach CYO basketball and high school soccer, I play clarinet in church, I am a Master rain gardner, and i love to read.

Kelly Jones
Sustainability Programs Manager
Kelly Jones (she/her/hers) is a sustainability programs manager focusing on campus engagement and culture change. She introduces students, staff, and faculty to sustainability initiatives and resources at the university and empowers them to get involved. Prior to joining U-M, Kelly worked at Environmental Defense Fund and earned her Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys hiking, playing ultimate frisbee, knitting, and spending time with her pet hedgehog.

Matt Bilello
Patient Services Associate
Matt is a Patient Services Associate with the Post Anesthesia Care Unit(PACU) at University Hospital(UH) and Cardiovascular Center(CVC). He works the Surgery Reception, pre-op and recovery desks at both hospitals. Main duties include: being a liaison between families and surgeons and assisting the charge nurses in pre- op and recovery with the running of the unit. He also enjoys history, Star Wars and being frustrated by his sports teams.

Sandy Zalmout (Team Facilitator)
Strategic Partnerships Manager
Sandy serves as a Strategic Partnerships Manager at the ICPSR Summer Program. In this role, Sandy focuses on forging partnerships and engagement with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority-Serving Institution (MSI), Sandy brings a rich blend of experience and commitment to boosting diversity and inclusivity. Sandy’s passion for educational equity fuels the identification and nurturing of partnerships that align with the strategic direction of the University and ICPSR and the needs of HBCUs and MSIs. In addition to professional pursuits, Sandy is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion within the academic community and beyond, and continues to evolve in the DEI space. Sandy has recently been appointed to the ISR DEI Staff Working Group, serves as an Executive Team member on the Women of Color Taskforce and is a facilitator on the Voices of the Staff Embrace Change Network. Outside of work, Sandy enjoys traveling, family, volunteering and advocating for underrepresented, marginalized groups and those with disabilities, and is ultimately focused on contributing to a more inclusive and innovative landscape at all levels.

Sebastian Beckley
Director of Finance and Fellowships
Sebastian Beckley (he/him/his) is the head of Finance and Fellowships team at the Rackham School of Graduate Studies. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the Finance and Fellowships team and all financial and fellowship activities within the overall budget of the graduate school. Knowledge sharing and mentorship are some of the most favorite aspects of Sebastian’s responsibilities and he engages in those activities outside of his every day duties (e.g. Blavin Scholars Program or SummerWorks Youth Employment Program). Outside of work, Sebastian enjoys gardening, traveling, and experiencing new cultures and cuisine.

Teresa Gutierrez
Contact Center OBGYN Call Representative
Teresa is a call representative for the contact center obstetrics and gynecology department with the University of Michigan Health Services. Her responsibilities in this busy department is multitasking by completing notes sent from clinics, outbound calls, taking incoming calls to assist patients in scheduling their appointments, sending notes to the clinic, or redirecting the call to the appropriate clinic. In her spare time she volunteers as an Advisor with the Lenawee Youth Council in her community, face painting, teaches dance, and is also an event planner. She most enjoys time with her family and going to her husband's gigs with the band.

Therese Smith (Team Facilitator)
Registered Nurse, Care Manager Utilization Review
Therese Smith is a registered nurse in Care Management working in Utilization Review, which is responsible for ensuring patients are in the right place, receiving the right care, and that their orders and insurance are all coordinated. Therese is also the union representative for her department for UMPNC. Outside of work, Therese is a proud Yooper (NMU graduate), she is a certified case manager, volunteers for the American Lung Association (on their board of directors for the Midland States), and loves winter and winter sports.
