LinkedIn Learning is an on-demand learning solution designed to help you gain new skills and advance your career. LinkedIn Learning is available at no cost to all active faculty, staff (including temporary employees) and students at the University of Michigan.
Formerly Lynda.com, this service is a leading online learning platform that helps anyone learn business, software, technology, and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. With over 20,000 high quality on-demand courses available, you’ll also receive personalized course recommendations based on unique, data-driven insights from millions of professionals on the worldwide LinkedIn network.
As of May 5, 2021, U-M users have access to LinkedIn Learning content through My LINC. This means that any LinkedIn Learning courses completed from this point forward will show up on users' transcripts. This integration will provide a greater depth of training to the U-M community. Individuals do not have to access LinkedIn Learning content via My LINC in order for the courses to show on their transcript, any courses that they complete via their U-M LinkedIn Learning account will be included.
Organizational Learning is also working on adding the Learning Tracks to this integration so that user participation will be included in My LINC training transcripts.
