It is a generative AI chatbot that only uses information from U-M web pages. New staff members can access OnboardingA2 Maizey once their U-M account is set up and they have established a UMICH password.

How to Use OnboardingA2 Maizey
- Try it out: Using OnboardingA2 Maizey is easy. Login and start asking questions.
- Be clear and specific: By being clear and specific in your prompts, OnboardingA2 Maizey can provide more accurate and helpful information. For example: "Where should I park if I work at Wolverine Tower?" will provide more accurate information than, "Where should I park?"
- Check the source: Every OnboardingA2 Maizey answer will include sources at the end of its response. Refer to the sources to confirm responses. You can also verify information with your supervisor or HR representative.
- Request detail: If you need in-depth information, ask for detailed answers. For example, "Can you provide a detailed overview of what I should do in my first week?"
