Scheduling and Monitoring Accrual Balance:
Staff Member:
Request approval for and schedule vacation in accordance with unit process. Monitor vacation balance to avoid reaching maximum accrual. Leave balances are visible in Employee Self Service.
Supervisor:
Inform staff member of unit protocol for scheduling and use of vacation. Assist staff member in scheduling vacation in an effort to avoid reaching maximum accrual when appropriate.
