HR Professionals must be able to use analytics to impact decision making. Analytics goes beyond collecting data and having scorecards to using data to improve business decisions.
This competency requires HR professionals to accurately interpret statistical data, understand data limitations in ambiguous situations and incorporate data analysis when interpreting information. If you are using data to create value, identifying problems that can be solved with data, translating data into useful insights and using data to influence decision making, you are on your way to utilizing this competency.
