Child Care: Parent Registry
What is it?
The Parent Registry connects parents directly with other parents. It is a clearinghouse of University of Michigan affiliated parents who are willing to share experiences they have had with child care providers with other University of Michigan parents. These experiences may be positive or negative. The nature of the experience and opinions expressed are not monitored or tracked by the Work/Life Resource Center (WLRC), nor does WLRC endorse or refer any specific provider.
How does it work?
Upon narrowing your choices for a child care provider, the Child Care Referral Specialists at WLRC will search the clearinghouse for parents who have past or current experience with a specific provider. Please note that we do not have entries for every child care setting. You then contact those parents directly to gather information.
Once you secure a child care setting, you may wish to be included in the Parent Registry as a resource for other parents seeking child care.
Who may use it?
This service is for University of Michigan affiliates.
