Small daily activities can add up to meaningful, lasting change. That idea is at the heart of “M-56: Your Road to Well-being,” a new MHealthy program that invites participants on a 56-day virtual journey with one quick activity each day to support their well-being. Registration is now open on the MHealthy Portal.
The program begins on Sept. 28. Daily activities are inspired by U-M’s Model of Well-being and invite participants to:
-
Test their knowledge
-
Learn something new
-
Reflect
-
Take a small action
Along the virtual route, participants will also encounter familiar landmarks from Flint, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, and Michigan Medicine. A new activity will unlock each day through Nov. 22. Participants have until Dec. 6 to complete all 56 days.
M-56 coincides with the launch of U-M’s 2026-27 Year of Human Health and Well-Being, part of the university’s Look to Michigan vision.
“Well-being is shaped by the small choices we make each day,” said Alison Nix, associate director for MHealthy. “M-56 brings the Year of Human Health and Well-Being to life through a simple, flexible and engaging program. It gives participants practical ways to support their bodies and minds, strengthen relationships, connect with their communities and build healthy habits one day at a time.”
