Register for In-Person Spring/Summer Physical Activity Classes

Move your way to well-being this spring and summer by joining an in-person physical activity class! Choose from more than 100 class offerings available through MHealthy, Michigan Recreation and Kinesiology Community Programs (KCP).

MHealthy classes offered across the Ann Arbor campus

Get moving, have fun and relieve stress! Registration is now open for MHealthy’s spring/summer session. Choose from more than 40 in-person classes, including yoga, boot camp, Zumba, strength training and more! Spring/summer classes run May 4 – August 16, 2026. The cost is $50–$100 for 10 to 15 weekly sessions. 

All MHealthy classes are taught by certified instructors and are for any fitness level. Space is limited and popular classes fill up fast – register early to get the best selection. Classes are available at locations across the Ann Arbor campus, including  Ann Arbor Ice Cube, NCRC, KMS, UH South Wellness Center and Cliff Keen Arena. Faculty and staff can sign up for classes at any location. 

Scholarships available, apply now! 

Don’t let finances stop you from joining an MHealthy in-physical activity class! A limited number of scholarships are available for qualifying employees. Classes fill up fast so apply early to have the best chance to get into your first choice class. The application for spring/summer closes April 24 at 5 p.m.

Michigan Recreation classes and personal training

Purchase a Michigan Recreation membership and Group-X pass and enjoy a variety of classes that will help you achieve your fitness and well-being goals. Personal Training is also available if you are looking for a more personalized experience.

Spring Group-X classes run May 5 – June 25. Summer Group-X classes run from July 6 – August 20. The spring and summer schedule will be posted April 24. There are 25-30 classes to choose from each week. To attend an in-person class, you will need to have an active Michigan Recreation membership or be an enrolled U-M student to access the facilities.

KCP classes include pickleball, golf, swimming and more 

Shake off winter - get moving! Join one of many Kinesiology Community Programs (KCP) class offerings starting in May 2026. KCP activity classes include bocce ball, golf, pickleball, swimming, tennis, and beach tennis. Locations are on and off campus for a variety of options.
