Help Build a More Inclusive Workplace

Group of coworkers working together

Creating an inclusive workplace starts with understanding accessibility and disability awareness. Organizational Learning is offering two courses to U-M faculty and staff who would like to have a better understanding of digital accessibility and contribute to a more inclusive and accessible work environment.

Disability Awareness and Inclusion

Disability is an integral part of maintaining a positive organizational culture. In this session, we will engage in discussions about increasing accessibility and disability inclusion. Discussions will include how to do this at the university starting in our own units and departments.

You will learn to:

  • Recognize and appropriately respond to requests for reasonable accommodations
  • Determine ways to create and maintain more inclusive environments for all employees
