Workshop: Leaders Creating a Culture at its Best

Did you know that MHealthy can customize a workshop to match your team’s needs? 

Attend the in-person sample session of its popular “Leaders Creating a Culture at its Best” workshop to learn how it can help your team feel connected, engaged and mentally and emotionally well. The free workshop takes place on Monday, July 17 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Palmer Commons.  

During this experiential learning opportunity, you will engage in topic discussions while listening and learning from your colleagues:  

  • Learn how to create cultures of wellness in your team by examining your team’s values and behaviors.

  • Learn about U-M’s Model of Well-Being and how integrating its principles in your team can increase social connection, mental and emotional well-being and engagement. 

  • Discover how MHealthy and its partners’ resources can contribute to engagement, collegiality and satisfaction at work.   

  • Participate in activities that MHealthy can customize and facilitate for your team.

  • Create a roadmap to help shape well behavior in your work team. 

“Renewed sense of excitement”

More than 1,500 managers, supervisors and influencers have attended “Leaders Creating a Culture” workshops to date, applying what they learned to their teams and working with MHealthy to provide customized workshops.

“I am finding more creative ways to bring health and wellness into the building,” says one past workshop participant. “I have a renewed sense of excitement from attending the workshop and feel a lot of people need that right now.”

Open to formal and informal leaders

Any faculty or staff member who hopes to influence their work team and improve workplace well-being can attend. Managers, supervisors, project and committee leaders, informal leaders and influencers are welcome.
