Learn firsthand how spending time outdoors can improve your social and emotional well-being. Through mindful exercises and a deep appreciation for the natural world, you'll discover how to reduce stress and invigorate your energy levels.
A Breath of Fresh Air

- Meet at the lower level of the North Campus Research Complex Building 18, 2800 Plymouth Road, at the MHealthy Winter Market
- Learn mindfulness techniques and find nearby spots with Nature Rx in the Michigan App
Please note that this session requires moving or walking outdoors for approximately a half-mile. Options will be provided for those who wish to sit or explore at their own pace and ability. We will learn how to appreciate nature in all its forms, and sessions will be held rain or shine. Please wear comfortable attire and dress for the weather.
Meet at the MHealthy Winter Market
Arrive early to explore the MHealthy Winter Market on the lower level of the NCRC Building. Look for the "A Breath of Fresh Air" signs to connect with your facilitators. Our session will wrap up at the Liberation sculpture, also known as "The Egg."
