September Cooking Classes: Fall for Corn and Tomatoes

September 11 Class – Red, Ripe and Juicy Tomatoes 
Time: 12 – 12:45 p.m.

Learn to select, prepare and savor the season's star: fresh summer tomatoes. In this class, you’ll see how to make a refreshing salad, a savory side dish and  a simple but scrumptious sandwich. 

September 25 Class – Corn Cuisine Fall's Golden Harvest
Time: 12 – 12:45 p.m.

Discover the versatility of this fresh and succulent whole grain. From a creamy pasta (with no cream!) to a great cornbread, you’ll learn to make the most of the season's bounty of corn. This class is for all skill levels.

MHealthy Cooking Classes support the growing field of culinary medicine. It explores the links between food and health, applying the foundations of nutritional science side-by-side with traditional medical interventions in clinical care.
