Did you know May 29th is recognized as National 529 Day? May 29 (5/29) is recognized annually as National 529 College Savings Plan Day. During the month of May, 529 plans across the country celebrate with virtual events to raise awareness and plan for the cost of higher education.

Saving for college is one of the most important financial goals for many people. If you’re already putting enough away toward your retirement, start saving for your child’s future college education as soon as you can. Small contributions add up over time.
