By coming together, staff can emerge from this pandemic experience stronger and poised for growth. One of the key programs that will help change our community is Voices of the Staff. And you can apply to join Voices now! The application deadline is April 30.

What is Voices?

Voices of the Staff is the long-standing U-M employee engagement program for staff from Michigan Medicine and every academic campus. It brings together 120 staff to help drive workplace improvement for all. This is accomplished through seven different monthly team meetings that are 90 minutes to two hours in length.

More than 2,500 staff have participated on Voices teams, attended its conferences, and participated at its town hall meetings. And thousands more have provided feedback through a series of staff surveys. Voices teams have already made an impact in the areas of DEI initiatives, parking, career development, onboarding, health and well-being, technology, and more.
