March 9 Class (6 – 6:45 p.m.) – The Power of Plants

Nutrient dense vegetables and fruits can help support blood flow and cognitive function as well as protect against brain diseases such as stroke and dementia. In this class, you’ll prepare a vegetable packed Shephard’s pie and even a delicious chocolate chip dessert!

March 30 Class (6 – 6:45 p.m.) – Load Up on Leafy Greens

Research shows that some of the best brain-healthy foods are leafy greens like kale, collards, spinach and leafy lettuce, which are high in nutrients that can help slow cognitive decline. In this class, you’ll prepare flavorful lettuce wraps and a side dish using vitamin-packed greens like kale, swiss chard or collards.
