April’s Free Cooking Classes: Protein Packed Meatless Meals

Learn to make delicious, healthier foods at MHealthy’s free virtual cooking classes. Registration opens March 20 for April cooking classes. Register by 10 a.m., April 3. 

New cook along with the chef option

April’s classes include the option to prep and prepare one of the recipes along with the chef. It’s a great opportunity to get your questions answered at every step! The recipe and a shopping list will be sent to class participants a week before the class.

More protein, less meat

Did you know that tofu, spinach and kale are high in protein? This series takes the fear out of cooking tofu and can help to rekindle your love of leafy greens.

Please note, April classes are 6 – 6:45 p.m. Sign up for one class or both: 

  • April 12 Class: Tofu Tips and Tricks (6 – 6:45 p.m.) – No need to fear this simple ingredient – it is easy to learn how to cook tofu with these tips and tricks! In this class, you’ll make a tasty crispy baked tofu recipe, along with ideas for using it in soups, bowls and more!
  • April 26 Class: We Love Leafy Greens! (6 – 6:45 p.m.) – So many reasons to love kale and spinach! They can help support brain and bone health, relieve stress and help regulate blood sugar. In this class, you’ll prepare salads that will rekindle your tastebuds for leafy greens.

MHealthy hosts two new cooking classes each month. Registration opens a few weeks before the first class date – sign up to be notified when registration opens for new classes.

MHealthy Cooking Classes support the growing field of culinary medicine. It explores the links between food and health, applying the foundations of nutritional science side-by-side with traditional medical interventions in clinical care.
