Educational

Eligibility
Leave is granted at the discretion of the staff member's department with the approval of the appropriate Human Resources office. Staff member has at least one year of continuous service and is enrolled in a full-time, accredited educational program. The educational program must be directly related to the employee's current position or a university position to which the employee may reasonably aspire.

Maximum Duration of Initial Leave
One year

Maximum Duration Including Extension
Four years, renewable annually
