If you’ve been looking for a way to lower your stress levels and feel more present in your life, you have a perfect opportunity starting this February. "Mindfulness for Well-Being" is a four-part introductory series designed to give you practical tools to support a greater sense of calm and focus. Whether you’ve never meditated before or you’re an experienced practitioner looking to refresh your mindfulness practice, these sessions are designed for you.
The course is led by Kelcey Stratton, Ph.D., a trained Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher. She notes that mindfulness provides skills for self-awareness and curiosity. "Mindfulness is a practical skill that helps us navigate the ups and downs of life with more ease," says Dr. Stratton. "By practicing together, you'll learn how to cultivate greater attention and awareness, allowing you to respond to stress with more clarity and kindness toward yourself."

Each Friday from noon to 1 p.m. you’ll join a supportive virtual community via Zoom. Class topics will build on one another and the class is designed to be taken as a four-part session, though you’re welcome to drop in for any you can make.
