This two-hour lab helps you practice what you learned in the Courageous Conversations course. You will work with others in a safe, supportive space to try new strategies during tough conversations.
In this session, you will practice having brave conversations. You’ll use real-life examples to help you. You’ll reflect on your reactions. You’ll also learn easy ways to stay calm, listen well, and speak clearly, even about difficult topics.

Any U-M faculty or staff member who has completed Courageous Conversations and would like to continue to improve their communication skills
Program Notes:
Prerequisite: To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, participants should complete the Courageous Conversations course before attending the Learning in Action Lab. The Learning in Action Lab builds upon foundational information covered during the initial session. You will be asked to register for a Courageous Conversations course date before selecting a date for the learning lab.
