Thinking of quitting tobacco? Good for you – there probably isn’t a better way to improve your health! Quitting tobacco is difficult, but also doable.

Help is available to live tobacco-free

MHealthy’s Tobacco Consultation Service (TCS) has partnered with the American Lung Association to offer Freedom From Smoking®. This free, eight-week program helps you develop a plan of action that leads to your quit day. You’ll also get the support you need to remain tobacco-free for life.

Virtual (Zoom) classes will take place Wednesdays, September 13 – November 1, 2023, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. To register, complete this form. To get the full experience, you must register before the first session.

  • How to know if you’re really ready to quit
  • About FDA-approved cessation medications that can increase your success
  • Lifestyle changes to make quitting easier
  • How to prepare for your quit day
  • Coping strategies for managing stress and avoiding weight gain
  • How to develop a new self-image
  • How to stay tobacco-free for good

MHealthy’s Tobacco Consultation Service is always available to help you. It offers free one-on-one employee assistance. Certified counselors can help you plan a quit date, explain how your body will react to nicotine withdrawal, offer coping strategies, and provide encouragement for those tough days.
