Help Keep Unused Drugs Out of the Wrong Hands

Colorful variety of pills spilling out of their containers.

It's Time to Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet!

Drop off your expired, old or unused medications to be disposed of in an environmentally safe way.

The Safe Medication Disposal Event is hosted by the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and co-hosted by U-M Environmental Health & Safety and the U-M Division of Public Safety & Security. Students have collected almost two tons of medication, keeping potentially harmful substances out of our water, landfills and the wrong hands.
