Now in its ninth year, Active U remains one of MHealthy's most popular programs. ALL U-M faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, retirees and spouses/other qualified adults (OQA) can participate in this 12-week physical activity challenge designed for all fitness levels.

Here’s how it works:

  • Sign up and participate on a team or as an individual
  • Select your activity goal:
    • MAIZE TRACK: Be physically active at least 30 minutes per day, at least 3 days per week.

      OR
    • NEW FOR BEGINNERS – BLUE TRACK: Begin by exercising at least 20 minutes per day, at least three days per week. Then, gradually increase your physical activity over the program's 12 weeks.
  • From Jan. 14 – April 7, track your physical activity minutes online or with your mobile device
  • Challenge yourself to meet your weekly activity goal & to complete the program!
