BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

To coordinate Public Safety staff in the provision of parking enforcement services.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a workgroup leader in the provision of parking enforcement services.
Provide advice and guidance to Public Safety staff on parking enforcement activities and operations.
Coordinate parking enforcement functional activities such as fleet/equipment maintenance, staff training, mobile patrol,

Field Officer training and related programs.
Serve as liaison with Ann Arbor City and University Parking services regarding parking enforcement activities.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

General supervision is received from a police supervisor, security supervisor or other designated official.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

Functional supervision is exercised over Parking Enforcement Officers and other support staff assigned to parking enforcement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Reasonable knowledge of parking enforcement procedures and activities is necessary.
Reasonable knowledge of police, fire and safety procedures is necessary.
