BASIC
FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Provide
one-to-one home care nursing service to a single patient for a
designated shift. Assess
physical, psychosocial and environmental needs of the patient
and family in accordance with agency, state and federal
regulations. Coordinate
care for the patient and family as a member of a
multi-disciplinary home health team.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform nursing assessment to identify the
physical, psychosocial, behavioral and environmental needs of
the patient and family. Supervision
is received from a Nursing Supervisor or other designated
official. QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of a program in
nursing is necessary. |
