BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY To provide
expert nursing care in multiple units to a specified patient
population; to design and coordinate nursing care programs in
multiple units to a specified patient population; and to provide
instruction and consultation to members of the health care team. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide
expert nursing care to a specific patient population through
individual assessment, evaluation and monitoring of treatment in
multiple units. SUPERVISION RECEIVED General supervision is received from a Director or Assistant Director of Nursing, Head Nurse or other designated official. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Functional supervision may be exercised over Clinical Nurse I's, II's, Allied Health, Service/Maintenance and other support staff. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's
degree in Nursing is necessary.
