Understanding Faculty at U-M: A Staff Development Program

Staff would benefit from an increased understanding of faculty, their lives and the uniqueness that is inherent in academia. A higher-level of understanding will enable staff to sympathize and consider the faculty viewpoint in decisions about when, how, and what work we complete. With the faculty perspective included in our work habits and decision-making processes, our products and services will better serve the faculty and therefore, the mission of the University of Michigan
