Staff dissatisfaction with our PA fill rate became apparent during newly implemented safety huddles. Our department, under the leadership of Dave MacIntyre, made the issue a priority to solve. Kathie Krebs and Dave MacIntyre researched new technologies in search of a solution. The technology that was chosen will not only meet a need for increased observation for at-risk patients, it will also result in dramatic cost savings.
