Better understanding and increased respect of the custodial profession, the challenges they face, and the importance of the work they do. Custodians are typically the lowest paid employees at UM but do some of the toughest work, late at night, and often alone. The work they do directly affects the heath and well being of the campus community as well as many other factors related to clean, safe, campus facilities.
