University Policies

There are several university Standard Practice Guides (SPGs) that put the university’s Nondiscrimination Statement into effect:

  • SPG 201.35 prohibits discrimination in employment and human resources policies and practices and states that reasonable accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities and to accommodate religious practices.
  • SPG 201.82 sets forth the university’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy.
  • SPG 201.84 sets forth the university’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy for individuals with disabilities.
  • SPG 201.87 sets forth the university’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy for veterans and veterans with disabilities.
  • SPG 201.89 sets forth the university’s sexual harassment policy for faculty and staff.
  • SPG 201.89-1 sets forth the university’s policy on discrimination and harassment.
  • SPG 601.6 sets forth the university’s policy preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation.
  • SPG 601.22 sets forth the university’s policy on faculty relationships with students.
  • SPG 601.22-1 sets forth the university’s policy on employee relationships with students.

The Statement of Student Rights & Responsibilities sets forth the rights and responsibilities of university students regarding, among other things, discrimination and harassment.
