The Sheltering in Love Series is a webinar series focused on several self-care and change management topics relevant to what is going on right now with the COVID-19 pandemic. Navigating Trauma

In these unprecedented days of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are acutely aware of trauma, stress and mental health. This session will focus on fostering physical, psychological and emotional safety in a time where we find ourselves immersed in suffering and daily loss.

About Kelcey Stratton

Dr. Stratton is a clinical psychologist and the program manager for resiliency and well-being services in the Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience at the University of Michigan. In this role, she is developing programs and strategies to enhance well-being among faculty and staff at Michigan Medicine. Her clinical experiences focus on the areas of stress, chronic pain, and mood disorders, and she is particularly interested in integrated health care approaches, resilience, and health program development.
 
Prior to coming to University of Michigan, Dr. Stratton worked for the United States Peace Corps in South Africa, where she served as a mental health consultant and clinician to international development volunteers and medical providers in over 65 countries. She has also worked as a clinical researcher in the VA system, where she focused on developing treatments for veterans. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the New School for Social Research in New York City.
