Navigating the Multigenerational Workplace

How and why do we interact and define each other through the lens of our birth year? Come to this session to discover how different generations experience the workplace, learn how our own experiences may influence our interactions and consider ways to reduce the impact of bias in the workplace based on age or generation.

You will learn to:

  • Investigate how commonly-held views of generational differences may actually be rooted in stereotypes
  • Determine how generational research may also be influenced by stereotypes and biases
  • Identify potential signs of ageism in the workplace

You will benefit by:

  • Learning actions that will help to reduce the effect of generational stereotyping at work
  • Being able to have an open dialogue about generational differences at work without relying on stereotypes
  • Having a more open minded view of generational differences
